Willemstad Cannons Crowned 2026 CPB Champions

The Willemstad Cannons are champions of Curaçao. Under manager Ricardo Vera, the Cannons swept the Curaçao Suns 2–0 in the 2026 championship series in Willemstad, securing the franchise's first CPB title after finishing as runners-up in both 2023 and 2025.

Jurdrick Profar was named CPB's Most Valuable Player, continuing a remarkable family tradition — his brother Juremi Profar won the award with the Curacao Goats in 2025.

The title caps CPB's third season, and the Cannons are now in line to represent Curaçao on the international stage, following the Suns' appearance at the 2024 Caribbean Series in Miami and the Goats' trip to the 2025 Serie de las Américas in Nicaragua.
